About Klipheuwel Farm

Klipheuwel Farm is situated within the Hex River Valley in Sandhills.

The farm is surrounded by the majestic Hex River Mountains and the area’s vineyards are well known for their annual show of spectacularly bright and varied autumn colours. Klipheuwel is a working table grape farm that boasts AltydLIG (“always radiant”), our wedding and function venue, along with accommodation and mountain hiking and trail running trails situated on the farm!

Accommodation

At Klipheuwel Farm and Venue we offer multiple accommodation options:

• Two Luxury Cottages that sleeps 2 persons each.
• A very spacious Farm House that can easily accommodate 16 people in two separate units.
• And we have a lovely campsite (a tented camp can be arranged at an additional fee).

The Hex Trails

Klipheuwel Farm is the base of operations for The Hex Trails. We have brand-new mountain, river and field trails for Hiking, Biking and Trail Running.

A lot of blood, sweat and tears went into the building of these trails. It is a great mix of challenging climbs, technical descents, soft river sand, cement strips and mountain running.

What an absolute gem! A lovely, spacious farm house with a genuine vibe. We were two families sharing the house and it is a fantastic venue for family gatherings and weddings! We will most definitely come back to this beautiful hidden secret surrounded by magnificent mountains. The hosts went out of their way to make us feel home. Beautiful, peaceful vibe! We did sound and DJ for a wedding here and I would recommend this place for small to medium weddings and also for functions of any kind. Very friendly people. Also 2 very cute chalets revamped from horse stables. 5 stars from me
